Full-Time Personal Trainer -Ivy Location

WE HAVE BEEN CHANGING LIVES IN CHARLOTTESVILLE SINCE 2002. As one of Charlottesville’s longest standing fitness facilities, Bill Burnett’s Success Studio seeks positive, motivated individuals to join this growth-minded and goal-oriented team at our North location. The ideal candidate is someone ready and eager to showcase their skills as well as searching for the right opportunity to grow as a fitness-professional in a fast-paced environment, where hard work and having fun go hand-in-hand.


AVAILABILITY: Full-Time M-Th 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., Friday 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.; 1 rotating Saturday per month 8a.m.- 2p.m. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about fitness and is willing to learn and grow with our company. 

THE IDEAL MATCH FOR OUR TEAM: A Personal Trainer has a critical role in Success Studio meeting each of its clients’ specific needs and must possess a positive attitude, be motivated as an individual, and also able to motivate others. As such, he/she must work to exceed the gold standard of customer service.

PERSONAL TRAINING SIMPLIFIED: Personal Trainers at Bill Burnett’s Success Studio work with clients in three settings: one-on-one training sessions, semi-private training sessions (up to 4 clients in a session), and large group training sessions (up to 12 clients in a session).

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 
Personal Training 1 year (Required)
Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
Functional Movement Screening: 1 year (Preferred)
NASM CPT (Preferred)
CPR/AED (Required - we can connect you if you need to renew)
ACSM Certified Personal Trainer (Preferred)

OTHER HELPFUL CERTIFICATIONS: TRX, NSCA, NCSF, ISSA, NESTA, ACE, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Corrective Exercise, CSCS, NASM PES, NASM FNS, Nutrition, Special Populations, etc.

  • Caring Support: Serve as a friendly, empathetic point of contact for clients, positively impacting their fitness and wellness journeys.
